Here at Hometown Orthodontics, we take pride in treating patients of all ages. Whether you’re a parent looking to address your child's orthodontic needs, or an adult wanting to enhance your smile, our expert team is here to help. We understand that orthodontic needs vary throughout life, and our commitment is to provide effective and comfortable treatment options for everyone.

There is no age limit for braces or aligners! Our doctors are enthusiastic about treating persons of every age who are interested in changing their life through orthodontics. While we do not require a referral from your dentist to be seen for an exam, we do require regular supervision of a dentist throughout treatment to ensure the health of your teeth and gums as you undergo changes in your alignment and bite.

Braces

The most common appliance used for orthodontic treatment is traditional metal braces. Metal braces consist of brackets and wires that guide your teeth to the desired location over time. While this type of braces may be more noticeable than others, they are also the most effective in moving your teeth!

Although they both achieve the same result, we also offer ceramic braces as they are translucent and are far less noticeable than traditional braces. They're designed to match the color of your teeth making them almost invisible both in person and in photos.

For those that want a more unique treatment option, our team also offers Esthetic (Gold) braces. These are similar to traditional metal braces and are designed with the same stainless steel metal. However, they also have a sleek gold coating– making sure your smile stands out in a crowd.

Clear Aligners

Hometown Orthodontics is proud of our ability to offer “In-House” aligners. These are clear aligners similar to Invisalign, but they are fabricated in our own in-office lab! This treatment is ideal for patients who are looking for a cost-effective way to make small changes in the alignment of their teeth and is used often for patients who have already had orthodontic treatment in the past and lost or forgot to wear retainers. Because our doctors are experts in the technology used to fabricate in-house aligners, we can turn these cases around quickly and have you smiling again sooner! We offer free consultations to determine if you are a candidate for this type of treatment.

Both Invisalign® and Spark aligners allow you to have the straighter smile you desire without having to worry about visibility, as they are both nearly indetectable. Clear aligners typically require less office visits throughout treatment than braces, making them a convenient option for patients who may drive from out of town to our office. They are also removable, allowing you to keep your teeth clean and live your life normally while obtaining your dream smile!

Retainers

No matter your chosen treatment, your journey usually doesn't end there. You'll likely need retainers to keep your new smile in place. Fortunately, we are able to provide several different options for retainers in our office.

Our most commonly recommended retainer type is a clear retainer that is worn at night time. Clear retainers are discreet, comfortable to wear, and can be removed when you eat or brush your teeth. We also offer fixed retainers for select cases, or at a patient’s request and when the bite allows. Fixed retainers are bonded to the back of your teeth and cannot easily be seen. Our team will work with you to decide which retainer type is best suited for you and your needs. Our office is also available for retainer repairs as needed.

State-of-the-art Technology

At Hometown Orthodontics, we’re proud to say that we are a completely digital practice! We use technology such as scanners, printers, and software applications to make your experience quicker and effortless.

Our iTero scanner is a hand-held device that captures detailed digital impressions of your teeth. The iTero eliminates the need for goopy hand-made impressions, and allows us to store a digital model of your teeth- making it easier to provide you with retainers at a moment's notice. There is no longer a need to worry about your teeth shifting while waiting for a new retainer!

Our digital x-ray machine allows us to have a clearer view of the lower and upper parts of your teeth and gums. This can then help us get a better understanding of what treatments are best suited for you.

With 3D printing we are able to create a variety of dental elements right here in our office, including aligners, retainers, and appliances. This allows us to get your treatment started quicker and to easily make changes during treatment if necessary.
